1. Booking and Payment

• A reservation is considered confirmed only after receipt of full payment for the stay.

• Payment must be made by bank transfer to the account provided at the time of booking confirmation.

• If payment is not received within 48 hours of booking, the reservation will be automatically cancelled.

2. Rates

• The rates indicated include breakfast and tourist tax unless otherwise stated.

• Rates are fixed and final at the time of booking confirmation.

3. Cancellation Policy

• Free cancellation is possible up to 30 days before the scheduled arrival date.

• If cancelled between 30 and 15 days before arrival, 50% of the total amount will be retained.

• If cancelled less than 15 days before arrival or in case of “no-show”, 100% of the total amount is due.

• We strongly recommend that guests purchase their own travel insurance to cover cancellation risks. We accept no responsibility for such matters.

4. Changes to the Booking

• Any modification of the booking is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

• Changes are valid only after written confirmation from Château Gioux.

5. Early Departure

• In the case of early departure, no refund will be provided.

6. Arrival and Departure Times

• Rooms are available from 4:00 PM on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11:00 AM on the day of departure.

• Please inform us if you expect to arrive after 8:00 PM.

7. Liability

• We are not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings on our property.

• Children remain under the full responsibility of their parents or guardians at all times.

8. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

• By making a reservation, guests fully accept these Terms and Conditions.

9. Dispute Resolution

• In the event of a dispute, only the courts located in the jurisdiction of the accommodation shall be competent, unless otherwise provided by law.

• In accordance with Article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code, guests may appeal free of charge to a recognized consumer mediator.
